Cheap, quiet, does the trick,
I used this enclosure for a DVD-RW drive with Lightscribe. It’s nice and quiet, and doesn’t get too hot. It was easy enough to assemble. At the price I paid, I have no complaints. It’s not exactly Apple-style design, but it looks OK.

These things are awful,
I ended up with 4 of these from various sources. I tested three with a known-good dvd burner. 3 of 4 got some kind of error in at least one application I tried using. I didn’t bother to test the 4th one. Just sent them all back. Disappointing too, since I like 5.25″ cases without fans. These seemed just the thing, but was disappointed at every turn.
